Pretty sure there might be something “vaguely objectionable” about selling a comic book version of the Lara Logan rape
Wow, yeah, no there’s nothing wrong with this this is a perfectly legitimate thing to start selling.
The funniest thing about rape fetishists is that they get really really annoyed by the use of the word “rape” when referring to their hobby, they prefer “ravishment”. I think that vague touch of Barbra Taylor Bradford is meant to make the hobby seem someone less worthy-of-the-end-of-the-world. It doesn’t.
Anyway, “artist” Cagri has decided that what the world needs right now is a graphic novelization of the rape and torture of an American TV news reporter that happened, oooh, three days ago. I mean, we all have our “how soon is too soon” to make a joke timeframe but most of us have the decency to wait until the stitches are out. Here’s the man himself to let us know what’s up:
Opening page of my upcoming dofantasy comic “the GREAT RIOT”… It takes place in a near future… the unemployment rate is now %42 and the poor people are fed up with the goverment lies… People are hungry and furious with the high-class… and yes, a group of riots’ just busted the CATV studios and speaker Sandra Harris is in a great panic…
I don’t know. I really don’t know. Feel like this should probably “go viral” or at least “get a bunch of people mad angry” but maybe as the West currently stands the only outcome for this will be some dude on TrueLad.com declaring Cagri a “10/10 profiteeringfromrapeLAD”.
Here’s another picture from this latter-day Crumb:
I think the idea is they’ve dragged her from the OB she was doing into the news room just do rape her? Or maybe the idea is that they’re raping her in public but have set up their own newsdesk there as a challenging rebuke to societal norms? I really have no idea.
Also why has the name of the TV channel changed from CATV to CAGTV just because some forcible sodomy is taking place there? Does the “G” stand for “Glitter”?
