The Fab Four Plus One: a repository of otherwise useless Beatles rap puns

So, on this week’s Mad Men, in what is truly the spoiler of all spoilers, they finally mention The Beatles, in a tossed off listing of presents Don wants his secretary to buy Sally for Christmas. We were always predisposed against Pete Best’s old muckers in our household because mum was a massive fan of the Monkees growing up, and probably still resented how the critical appraisals of each band had fell in the following years. Still, for the past month or so, we’ve had “And Yung Berg Can Sing” written down on a scrap of paper here at ILB HQ and, tbh, we’re not going to ever get a better excuse to run a post that’s just a string of shitty Beatles rap puns, so here goes nothing:

  • Sergeant Salt n Pepa’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
  • Being For The Benefit of Mr Carter
  • Boosie In The Sky With Diamonds
  • MC Eiht Days A Week
  • Here Comes The Son Doobie
  • Hey Bulldogg Pound
  • Yoko Oh No
  • Hey Bulldogg Pound
  • Kris Kross The Universe
  • Baby, You’re A Rich Boy
  • Within U-God, Without U-God (aka Goldenarms Slumbers)
  • Free As A Birdman
  • Happiness Is A Warm Gunplay
  • Yer Blu and Exiles
  • One After 808
  • Revolution Tech N9ne
  • Ad-Rocky Raccoon
  • The Ballad of Lil Jon and Yoko
  • Rubber De La Soul
  • The Continuing Story of Bushwick Bill
  • MC Yella Submarine
  • We The Pete Best
  • OBD, O-Bla-Da
  • Ringo Gang Starr
  • Maxwell’s Silver MC Hammer

If you can do any better….
