The disinterested ILB end of year rundown: #19 Busta Rhymes ft Lil Fame – Game Room

It’s basically a vicious cycle. You start to lose interest in modern music. You begin to focus your energies on the artists you liked ten years ago. Then they release shitty albums in the modern era, leaving you even more disgusted with contemporary music, and return to your albums by… the guys who just disappointed you. Actually, the new MOP album isn’t shitty, just incredibly dull. The Busta one is fucking awful though. Actually ending it with that one song they did with Linkin Park just seems like salt in a bleeding vagina.

“Game Room” is different though. They both sound kinda relaxed, Busta having finally managed to get all of his “maybe I’m actually a tortured emotionally moody thug” shit out of his system, Lil Fame no longer having flashbacks to that song they did with Lyte Funkie Ones, and it’s such a goofy fucking beat that they can’t help but have some fun with it. Busta mentions Twitter in an attempt to be called an “early adopter”, but then Fizzy comes through with his dick in his hand, and drops jewels like “I fuck hoodrats, I even fuck Caucasians” and “respect my conglomerate, I don’t even know what the fuck that word means”. I mean, really, what else can you say about this song other than “Holy shit someone find Lil Fame a decent beat and some key bumps and we might hear a 10/10 rap track in 2010”.

I’ve never heard this song and it’s not on youtube.

Speakin’ of Busta and M.O.P, Don’t Touch Me (Throw Da Water On ‘Em) is another recent-ish tune which should’ve been an M.O.P song instead.

    Oh yes.

Fame >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> every Brooklyn rapper other than the dead fat god himself.

Y’know how there was that AZ remix album over all the Al Green samples? There needs to be a remix of the last M.O.P album over all really hype video game sampling beats.
