Howl do you like me now?

So, anyway, yeah, in yesterday’s little post we didn’t really mention the band in question much, but rest assured they are fucking amazing and if you’re that desperate to read more about them you can check this review from The Independent, written by Simon “Not Grimy” Price, where in a fantastic bout of “reviews mainly in character”, the 90s journalist says that the band are reminiscent “primarily of unjustly forgotten 1990s heroes Orlando”. I know, right?

Anyway, it may be worth noting, in an attempt to bring this around to a point, that Price is one of a number of former IPC hacks who you can find tapping away on the message board for When Saturday Comes, which is a wonderful place if you want to see grown adult men who’ve had Word Magazine bylines flounce their arms up into the air over a disagreement about, say, Brede Hangeland’s turning circle.

MY POINT IS: WSC, in addition to a magazine, also puts out a weekly email. This weekly email contains a section regarding the best piece of Wikipedia vandalism relating to football over the week. Long-time ILB readers will know that we have nothing but love for that noble art. However, the entry from their most recent mailout may be of particular interest to you people:

Much like the mag itself, Al Needham and Taylor Parkes are the best thing about the board.

Gotta love the Robin Carmody posts too, particularly the hilarous College Dropout thread on the old board.

Robin Carmody’s 50 finest moments would surely be an amazing Tumblr blog.
